Job Description
Your work will have a real‑world impact. You will explore pioneering concepts by collaborating with elite multidisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and designers. You’ll see ideas become reality as you create prototypes through Awerian’s rapid design and implementation approach. It’s a challenging, varied, and agile role.
Every day you will operate on the boundary of technological exploration by inventing new solutions and enhancing existing hardware. Typically, this will involve analysis, computational modelling, prototype design, invention, laboratory testing, process development, and manufacturing.
Your problem‑solving skills will be enhanced as you tackle complex electronic engineering challenges that test your deep understanding of engineering fundamentals and physical principles beyond pure electronics. You will have many opportunities to expand your skill set into different areas based on your interests.
Requirements
You will have relevant industry experience working in Digital Signal Processing algorithm development on FPGA architectures, having worked on design and implementation of solutions and collaborating on projects.
In addition, experience in any of the following is desirable:
 * RADAR or communications applications
 * OpenCPI
 * Software Defined Radios (SDRs)
 * Electronics development
 * RF design
 * Embedded software development and software architecting
Experience within the UK defence sector is an advantage; however, we will consider candidates from all backgrounds.
