Successful completion of this apprenticeship will provide you with:
* Level 2 Apprenticeship as a Furniture CNC specialist, with potential progression to a Level 3 Apprenticeship
* An in-depth knowledge of the running and maintenance of a 5-axis Timber CNC and a flatbed CNC
* A solid understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace gained from video assessments, competency based training and onsite experience
* Basic understanding of joinery / assembly skills
* Understanding of finishing processes using a range of sanders, routers and treatments
* Experience of working within a collaborative work environment
* An in-depth insight into the educational play industry

Work Location: In person
Responsibilities:
* Production – Loading, Nesting and Cutting of all Pentagon Components on our CNC machines
* Quality Control – ensuring all components meet the standards to move on to assembly
* Efficiency – Recording of timings throughout the manufacturing process to meet set standards
* Maintenance – Ensuring all machines are maintained in line with their maintenance schedule
* Housekeeping – Ensuring all machines, areas around the machines, and storage locations are kept clean and tidy
* Stock Management – Ensure raw materials are readily available and shortages are reported to team leaders
Skills Required:
* Good level of computer and IT skills
* High level of attention to detail
* Confident communicator
* Ability to problem solve
* Process driven
