Staffline are currently recruiting for Production Operator for a leading Soft Drinks company based in Ballymena.
Do you have flexibility to undertake adhoc shifts on a weekly basis or work hours up to 40 hours per week? Can you work both day shift and night shift - either 7am - 7pm or 7pm - 7am? Do you work well as part of a team?
Main Responsibilities:
1. Set up machinery in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Contribute towards achieving and maintaining a positive team and working environment.
3. Communicate in a respectful, professional and timely manner with Managers, work colleagues and wider team to maintain continuity of production and ensure a safe, efficient working environment for all.
4. Liaise with lead technical operator when critical issues occur.
5. Promote accident prevention on your line by adhering to all safety guidelines and wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
6. Carry out quality checks in accordance with procedures.
7. Actively investigate faults ensuring root cause is determined and follow up on actions to sustain improvements.
8. Responsible for maintaining documentation associated with operations and ensure that all monitoring systems required by the Company are completed accurately in accordance with laid down quality procedures.
9. Responsible for ensuring that all machinery and the immediate area around the machinery on your line is maintained to the highest standards of housekeeping and hygiene.
10. Conduct basic routine maintenance of your machine and ensure that procedures are followed accurately and that all necessary paperwork is completed.
11. Comply with all hygiene, environmental and health and safety instructions provided and safeguard your own health and safety and that of others on your line who may be affected by your actions.
