Location: Across multiple locations within the Nottinghamshire & South Yorkshire area
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £28,163.20 per annum + up to £20,000 in sales‑based commission per annum (eligible after successful completion of training).
At CMG, we don’t just sell memorials; we help families celebrate and remember the lives of their loved ones in the manner they choose, creating lifelong tributes that convey dignity, beauty, and permanence. As a Designate Memorial Consultant, you’ll guide families through some of their most important decisions, turning moments of loss into meaningful acts of remembrance when they need you most.
This is a high‑performing sales role for someone with deep compassion, empathy, and high emotional intelligence. You’ll self‑motivate, meet ambitious annual sales targets, and generate leads and appointments independently while presenting our full range of premium products with confidence.
After a 10‑12 week induction, you’ll work across sites within a 30‑mile radius of your base area. Thereafter, you’ll progress to a permanent Memorial Consultant role.
What You’ll Do
* Generate and manage your own pipeline of appointments, leads, and follow‑ups.
* Meet families face‑to‑face, understand their wishes, and guide them through options with care and compassion.
* Present our full range of memorial options, highlighting features, benefits, and the value of permanent remembrance.
* Meet and exceed your annual sales targets while maintaining the highest service standards.
* Work closely with site colleagues, suppliers, and operations teams to ensure flawless delivery for every family.
* Serve as a visible presence at open days, events, and in the community to showcase our work.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven sales experience and the ability to guide families through decisions, achieving targets.
* High emotional intelligence and genuine compassion while staying commercially focused.
* Initiative and resilience, a self‑starter mindset, and the ability to generate opportunities.
* Effective communication skills to confidently present options and guide decisions.
* Highly organised, detail‑focused, and comfortable using systems to manage appointments and records.
* A team player who values collaboration across the Dignity and local site teams.
Why Join Us?
* Impact with a real purpose: each sale is an emotional and lasting tribute for families.
* Competitive base salary plus a commission/bonus structure that rewards effort and dedication.
* Comprehensive induction and ongoing coaching to help you succeed.
* Opportunity to combine sales performance with a meaningful purpose and progress your career with Dignity.
