We’re looking for a proactive and organised Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of our ED3 business plan at Northern Powergrid.
As the energy sector transforms to meet the demands of tomorrow, our ED3 programme is central to how we’ll continue powering 8 million people across 3.9 million homes and businesses.
In this vital role, you’ll work closely with the ED3 Programme Lead, helping to orchestrate meetings, track deliverables, manage resources, and keep our programme running smoothly. From maintaining control logs to producing clear and timely communications, you’ll ensure our plans stay on track and aligned with strategic priorities.

Along with a competitive salary of between £25,000 - £35,000 we also offer great benefits such as;

Key Responsibilities
* Orchestrate meetings across the ED3 plan to enable a smooth programme
* Oversee delivery of plan deliverables, set clear deadlines and monitor quality
* Develop and manage the ED3 reference and resources library (templates, guidance, standards etc)
* Manage interactions with external agencies for document design
* Manage of the programme control actions log, proactively following up on outstanding actions
* Produce and publish regular and timely ED3 programme communications
* Operate an effective managed environment for programme control by establishing and uphold standards for working practices
* Great interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to adapt to changes in the programme plan
* Experience in programme management, governance frameworks and reporting processes
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholders
* A passion for the energy sector
Qualifications & Experience
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Experience managing projects
* The ability to proactively prioritise, plan and deliver outputs
* Advanced Excel and MS Office skills, with the ability to analyse data, create reports, and present insights effectively
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
* An understanding of UK energy regulation, price reviews and regulatory frameworks in the energy sector
* Experience of preparing or evaluating business plans of regulated companies
* Qualified to degree level (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working with or alongside a Distribution Network Operator
