Job Title: Senior Data Analyst (FinTech)
Location: Canary Wharf (2 days per week onsite)
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a fast-moving FinTech team on an initial 6-month contract. You’ll play a key role in turning complex data into clear insights that drive product, risk, and commercial decisions.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week onsite in Canary Wharf and the rest remote.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse large, complex datasets to generate actionable business insights
* Build and maintain dashboards and reporting for stakeholders across product, finance, and risk
* Work closely with data engineers and product teams to improve data models and pipelines
* Design and optimise SQL queries and data transformations
* Support experimentation, forecasting, and performance analysis
* Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong experience as a Senior Data Analyst in a FinTech environment
* Advanced SQL skills (complex joins, window functions, optimisation)
* Hands‑on experience with Amazon Redshift and/or Snowflake
* Experience working with large‑scale data warehouses and cloud data platforms
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Proven ability to translate data into business value
Nice to Have
* Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
* Python or R for analysis
* Experience working in fast‑paced, product‑driven teams
* Duration: 6 months initial
* Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week in Canary Wharf
