The Head of Tenancy and Leasehold plays a critical role at Advance. This role leads the Tenancy and Leasehold Team in the delivery of our tenancy and leasehold management services, ensuring that an equitable and customer-led service is accessible to all.
Advance has built a solid foundation and strong reputation in the supported housing sector. You will reinforce our strengths and further develop our ability to provide the best service possible. You will be a credible, authentic and inspiring role-model for your managers and teams, and you will deliver an excellent service to customers through a collegiate way of working with your colleagues throughout the Housing directorate. We are immensely proud of our work yet constantly striving for improvements.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Providing strategic leadership in tenancy and leasehold management across multiple regions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
* Designing, implementing, and reviewing housing policies, strategies, and operational procedures.
* Monitoring and improving rental income performance, leading on arrears recovery and void property management.
* Managing complex cases involving anti-social behaviour, harassment, and tenancy disputes.
* Ensuring adherence to housing and leasehold legislation and regulatory requirements.
* Leading initiatives for customer engagement, consultation, and continuous service improvement.
* Building and managing partnerships with external agencies, including negotiating service agreements.
* Overseeing service charge processes in collaboration with finance teams to ensure accuracy and transparency.
