CNC Setter/Programmer – Aluminium Extrusions
Full-time, Permanent Shifts: Mon–Thurs 6–2 / 2–10, Fri 6–12 / 12–6 Pay: £16–£21 DOE
We’re looking for a skilled CNC Setter/Programmer to take parts from initial program to final sign‑off within a busy production environment.
Role Overview
* Create and optimise offline CNC programs
* Set up machines, tooling, jigs, and work holding
* Run and monitor production, carrying out in-process checks
* Work with QA to verify and adjust parts
* Troubleshoot tooling, programming, and machine issues
* Complete documentation and basic maintenance
What You’ll Need
* CNC programming experience (G‖code/M‖code, CAM)
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* 1–2+ years CNC setting/operating (3–5 axis preferred)
* Experience with aluminium is a bonus
* Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
* Able to lift up to 20kg and work rotating shifts
