Kin House, a private hire events space in Wiltshire is seeking an Event Producer to work across the planning of all events. This is a proactive role, which requires excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.The successful candidate will have experience in hospitality, specialising in planning and event management. The Event Producer must be able to multi-task and use initiative to ensure Kin House is proactively delivering an exceptional experience for all guests from initial enquiry through to the event day itself.
We’re looking for an energetic hospitality professional, who cares about exceptional client service and delivering flawless events. You will be a key part of the client journey and responsible for the meticulous planning and unforgettable moments for events including private stays, corporate and weddings.
Responsibilities include:
* Being the first point of contact for clients during their planning and event day at Kin House.
* Proactively delivering a memorable guest experience throughout the client journey from first enquiry, to viewing, through planning and on the event itself.
* Creating detailed and concise event documents for all departments to work to, to ensure the highest level of event execution is delivered.
* Being an energetic and warm host, from check-in to check-out.
* Working closely with the team in hosting site visits and meetings from initial show rounds to planning meetings.
* Ensuring the house standards are maintained, with a focus on immaculate venue presentation.
* Responsible for all event final details from room allocations, invoicing, table plans, and event reporting to provide a seamless service throughout.
* Managing feedback and event reports to allow for consistent and continued improvement.
* Attending weekly operations meetings where required.
* Excellent knowledge of our products and services, including drinks packages, menus and upsells.
* Being the first point of contact for customers on site, including phone and emails.
* Working to event and office procedures.
* Assisting event management with the delivery of event and client relations.
* Managing a variety of events hosted at Kin House, including brand, corporate, private hire stays, menu tastings, client workshops and luxury weddings.
* Organise orders, deliveries and collection of equipment required, taking into consideration future events.
* Managing an event end to end, working alongside all relevant departments with flawless communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a 5* service – at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
* Exceptional attention to detail and administration skills
* Exercise excellent judgement and decision making
* Customer service driven and a proactive attitude
* Excellent communication skills, both orally and written
* Proficient in MS Office
Package:
* Holiday allowance of 20 days (plus bank holidays)
* Up to £35,000 per annum dependent on experience.
* Additional birthday day off
Hours
* 45 hours over 5 days in 7 on a rota basis
