Main duties of the job

Your focus as Care Supervisor will be to manage, support, and guide a small team within the Care Services team, ensuring Avery processes and procedures are followed to the highest standards. You will ensure that our residents' choices, dignity, independence, and personal safety are at the core of all care and support activities. Other responsibilities include promoting and delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, closely monitoring and reporting on residents' daily progress, dealing with concerns or complaints raised by residents or relatives, and providing ongoing support for residents, their families, and the Care Services Team.

About the role

Your focus as Care Supervisor will be to manage, support, and guide a small team within the Care Services team, ensuring Avery processes and procedures are followed to the highest standards. Other responsibilities will include:

* Promoting and delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents.
* Closely monitoring and reporting on residents' daily progress, ensuring all observations and interventions are recorded.
* Dealing with any concerns or complaints raised by residents or relatives promptly and appropriately.
* Providing ongoing support for residents, their families, and the Care Services Team.


About you

To be successful in your application, you will live our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability in all that you do.

Our ideal candidate must have:

* A minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
* A recognised medication administration qualification and experience.
* Previous experience in a senior care role.
* Demonstrable ability to organise, lead, inspire, and influence a team.


Additional requirements

This role will require:

* A DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Person Specification


Qualifications

* Minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, recognised medication administration qualification, and experience in a senior care role. Demonstrable leadership and team-influence skills are essential.
