Are you a passionate and inspiring Maths specialist looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Secondary Maths Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Stafford for a full-time cover position running from January 2026 through to November/December 2026.
About the Role:
As the successful candidate, you will:
Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Support students’ progress and academic development
Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school team
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
Holds QTS or QTLS (ECTs welcome to apply)
Has experience teaching Maths at secondary level
Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
Is committed, reliable, and enthusiastic about supporting young people’s learning
