Primary Purpose of this position
Design, manufacture, verification, validation, and support of test equipment at board, sub-system, and system levels.
* Design of functional test equipment
* Ensure quality and provide leadership for junior engineers
* Document specifications and participate in design reviews
* Create reliable hardware solutions
* Implement technical items with system understanding
* Collaborate with hardware and software teams
* Develop test hardware, software, and procedures
* Support manufacturing and resolve technical issues
* Manage obsolescence and monitor progress
* Ensure compliance with health and safety policies
* Follow company values and ethics
* Support company initiatives and risk management
* Guide test development processes and resource planning
* Lead small/medium test engineering projects
* Engage with SMEs and external stakeholders
Knowledge & Experience:
* Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field (preferably 2.1 or higher)
* Strong knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design
* Experience in design documentation and production management
* Support/debug system integration
* Proficiency in MS Office
* Eligibility for MOD Security Clearance to SC level
Highly Desirable:
* Experience with Mentor Graphics, PXI/LXI architectures, NI LabView, NI TestStand, C#
* Knowledge of RF electronics, power supplies, high-speed serial networks, measurement uncertainty, and mixed-signal circuit design
