Freelance Earthworks Manager

I am working with a leading subcontractor delivering a major package of works on a relief road project. They are seeking an experienced Earthworks Manager to join their team on a freelance basis, overseeing large-scale bulk earthworks and associated civils activities.
Role & Responsibilities:
•Take full responsibility for day-to-day delivery of earthworks operations on site.
•Manage plant, and labour to ensure safe and efficient progress.
•Oversee quality assurance of earthworks activities.
•Ensure compliance with programme, specifications, and HSEQ standards.
•Liaise with the Project Manager, client representatives, and other stakeholders.
•Maintain accurate records, reporting progress, issues, and variations.
Requirements:
•Proven track record in managing bulk earthworks packages
•Ideally experience in highways or infrastructure schemes.
•Strong knowledge of earthworks methodologies
•Experience working with subcontractors
•CSCS (Black or Gold), SMSTS, and First Aid.
•Full UK driving license and right to work in the UK.
