About the Role: Are you a skilled electrical technician looking for a mobile role with variety, autonomy, and strong long-term prospects?
This is a great opportunity to join a growing team supporting public sector facilities across the Surrey region. Youll be responsible for maintaining and repairing essential building services systems, with the freedom of a mobile role and the support of a wider technical team.
Working across multiple sites, youll carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of electrical and mechanical systems helping to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation in commercial and public buildings.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical and mechanical building systems in line with service level agreements.
Carry out reactive maintenance tasks and small works, including fault finding, emergency lighting tests, HVAC checks, and lighting upgrades.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation is maintained for compliance audits.
Respond to faults and callouts as part of a shared on-call rota (1 in 4).
Work independently while managing your own schedule across multiple local sites.
Ensure high levels of customer service and safe working practices at all times.
What Youll Need: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent City & Guilds qualification.
18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.
Strong fault-finding and repair skills across building services.
Valid UK Driving Licence.
Ability to work independently and manage a mobile schedule.
Good understanding of compliance requirements and maintenance standards.

IOSH Working / Managing Safely
L8 Legionella Awareness
Experience with Permits to Work, Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
