Location: Abingdon Department: Customer Services Reports to: Customer Services Supervisor Peopleforce Recruitment are supporting one of their long-standing partners in sourcing a customer service advisor for a 3 month contract. This business provides essential toxicology testing services that help protect communities and support better health outcomes. As a Customer Services Advisor, you’ll be a key point of contact for our customers, ensuring every interaction is handled professionally, accurately, and with care. What You’ll Do * Support our 24/7 emergency call-out and Chemist on Call service by participating in a shared on-call rota. * Respond to customer enquiries across phone, email, and other channels. * Handle day-to-day admin tasks related to our services. * Process orders, track deliveries, and manage returns. * Work closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth and consistent customer experience. * Keep up to date with our services, policies, and quality standards. * Follow all regulatory and internal compliance guidelines. * Carry out any other tasks needed to support the wider team. What We’re Looking For * Degree-level education or equivalent experience. * Experience in customer service or a contact centre (preferred but not essential). * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong IT skills – comfortable with MS Office; Salesforce/Sage experience is a plus. * Calm under pressure and able to handle multiple tasks at once. * A genuine desire to help customers and solve problems
