About The Role
Support Worker, The Manse, Lower Freystop. £12.60 to £12.80 per hour
Full Time: 39 hours per week (flexibility to work morning, afternoon, and weekend)

Sign up before 30th May 2025 and earn £500 when you start a permanent role with us. We will pay you £250 when you complete your shadow shifts and another £250 after 3 months (paid in the next payroll).

Orbis Education & Care provides specialist care and education services for children and adults with complex needs associated with autism. We focus on a person-centered approach, emphasizing personal strengths, interests, and aspirations to empower individuals to enjoy active, socially valued, and fulfilling lives.
Located in Freystop, on the outskirts of Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire, The Manse is a spacious home for up to 4 adults from age 18.
A day in the life at The Manse includes:
* Meeting physical and emotional needs through a supportive environment.
* Supporting recreational activities, outings, and community integration.
* Promoting independence, self-esteem, and celebrating achievements.
* Tailoring support to individual needs.
* Keeping records of activities, progress, and incidents.
* General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
We are looking for caring individuals who:
* Have a compassionate and caring nature and want to make a positive impact.
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Are resilient and patient, adaptable to individual needs.
* Are willing to learn and follow team guidance.
* Possess basic IT skills for record keeping and communication.
* Are flexible to work shifts, including weekends and occasional nights.
Please note: This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
