Vehicle Technician – Independent Garage
1. Location: Bromsgrove
2. Salary: Circa £35,000–£40,000 per annum (DOE)
3. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (No weekends)
4. Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays
Our client, a busy and well-established independent garage in Bromsgrove, is looking to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their growing workshop team. Working within a modern 10-ramp facility, this is a great opportunity for a technician seeking a stable, Monday–Friday position with no weekend work.
You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work to a high standard across a range of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities for this Vehicle Technician role:
5. Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
6. Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment
7. Complete work efficiently and to high quality standards
8. Carry out vehicle health checks and report additional work
9. Support MOT preparation work where required
10. Maintain a clean and safe working environment
11. Ensure all job cards and documentation are completed accurately
Requirements for this Vehicle Technician role:
12. Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
13. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a workshop environment
14. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
16. Good attention to detail and work quality
17. Full UK driving licence
