Who You Will Be Working With
You will join the SAP Analytics Capability in Capgemini’s Insights and Data (I&D) business unit. Insights and Data is a global business unit covering Enterprise Data Management, Cloud Platforms, Enterprise Content Management and AI & Analytics.
The focus of your role
We are looking for candidates who are interested in bringing existing SAP Analytics skills context, supported through training as well as guided hands‑on experience. As a Senior Consultant, in addition to developing innovative solutions for our clients, you will keep abreast of the latest developments in the data, analytics and data modelling products and offerings from other vendors and demonstrate a wider knowledge of data platforms and non‑SAP and hybrid data ecosystems.
You will provide guidance to clients and internally to other resources. You may also offer insights to the wider community through blogs, articles and social media.
What You Will Bring
Your core skill set will include the following
* Minimum of 8+ years’ experience, with multiple project lifecycles.
* SAP Data Services (SDS, formerly BODI) experience in analytics and/or data migration use cases
* Experience in SAP data migrations a significant advantage
* Experience either extracting data in ETL tools for analytical or data migration contexts or ideally both.
* Performance tuning ETL jobs and migrating data to target databases
* Good communication skills
* Good problem‑solving skills
* Eligible for SC clearance or already has SC clearance & a UK national a significant advantage.
Additional Skills Of Interest Include
* Awareness / experience of delivering solutions using non‑SAP BI technologies (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker etc.)
* Help clients to define and implement their solutions for BI and analytics
* Manage delivery of small SAP analytics projects or streams in larger projects
* Manage stakeholders, both from the client and internally, and help clients them define, classify, and prioritise their requirements and solution roadmap.
* Work with Capgemini technical and management consultants to design solutions that leverage SAP packaged content and solutions but also look beyond standard offerings and safeguard clients’ core requirements and competitive advantage.
* Work with Capgemini consultants in the UK and abroad to deliver projects on time and to customer expectations.
