About the Role
Liverpool City Council is embarking on an ambitious property transformation programme, and we are recruiting for a new Head of Estates Management to join the Property Senior Management Team.
Are you an inspirational, strategic leader with Estates Management experience? Do you have the credibility, confidence, and skills to help transform the estates function into an innovative and professional service that maximises its property portfolio?
This exciting new role will lead on key organisational wide property strategies such as the Strategic Asset Management Plan and the Accommodation Strategy, working closely with Dave Lord, our new Director of Property, to embed a new Corporate Landlord Model.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, an extraordinary collaborator in complex partnership settings, with experience working with property estates, providers and agencies to meet the diverse needs of our property stock. You will have experience of developing and implementing a Corporate Landlord function in a large and complex public organisation (or equivalent) using excellent relationship management skills.
You will have experience of shaping and leading an Estate’s team to deliver quality services, ensuring full compliance and sustainability across all assets. You will champion personal and professional growth, alongside the health and wellbeing of your teams, ensuring an inclusive, empowering approach to constantly improve and achieve the best outcomes.
You will be resilient, comfortable with scrutiny, change, complexity and uncertainty and will be able to navigate and manage different stakeholder needs and multiple demands in a fast-paced environment. You will demonstrate a commitment and enthusiasm to making a difference for residents and you will role model our values and be an ambassador for the Council.
