These positions are permanent and there are full and part time roles. (Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.
The shift pattern for this position is Rotational.
Health Care Support Worker (Band 3) – High Dependency Unit, Royal Alexandra Hospital. 34.1 hours
You will assist Registered Nurses in the provision of patient care in the High Dependency Unit. The purpose of the role is to competently perform and support all necessary aspects of care for this defined patient group, whilst ensuring safe, person centred care is provided to all patients.
You will also provide, through following Greater and Glasgow & Clyde policies, a safe environment for the treatment of patients and protection of staff. It is essential you have a caring disposition preferably with experience working in a caring environment/role. Good communication skills are essential for this post. This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland's PVG Scheme.
There is a requirement to work flexibly to support the service. Shift pattern is 11.5 hour rotational shift between days and nights, Monday to Sunday.
