Your Responsibilities as an LCV Technician
You will be essential to keeping our fleet of Commercial Vehicles safe and reliable. This hands-on role in Oxford requires precision and dedication to deliver high-quality servicing and repairs.
Carry out major and minor repairs to light goods vehicles and trailers.
Perform all required inspection and preventive maintenance services.
Work with the team to accurately diagnose faults and plan necessary repair work.
Provide breakdown and repair services to clients on the road in case of emergencies.
Maintain accurate records for all vehicles repaired and complete necessary paperwork, including warranty claims.
Ensure workshop inventory is managed and the work area is kept clean.
Requirements for the Role
To join our team as an LCV Technician in Oxford, you must possess:
Qualification: Must be Level 3 qualified (NVQ, City and Guilds, or IMI Qualification) in LCV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance.
Experience: Proven experience carrying out diagnostic and service repairs on Commercial Vehicles.
Knowledge: The ability to correctly identify worn and faulty components in line with DVSA Standards.
Licence: A current, full UK driving licence for the relevant vehicle classes.
