Family Solicitor | 6+ PQE | Legal 500 Firm | West Midlands (Full-Time) BCL Legal is delighted to be assisting a highly regarded Legal 500 firm with the recruitment of an experienced Family Solicitor to join its established private family law team in the West Midlands. This is a full-time, permanent position offering high-quality work, autonomy, and genuine opportunities for career progression within a supportive and collaborative environment. The Role You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of private family law matters, with a focus on delivering empathetic and pragmatic advice to clients. The work will include: Divorce and separation Financial remedies and asset protection Private children matters Cohabitation disputes Injunctions and domestic abuse cases Drafting legal documentation including statements, applications, and consent orders Conducting advocacy (where appropriate) and liaising with counsel Engaging in client care, negotiation, and resolution Supporting marketing and business development activities Candidate Requirements Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (England & Wales) Minimum 6 years' PQE in family law (private client-focused) Confident in managing your own caseload with minimal supervision Strong working knowledge of UK family law and court procedures Excellent drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills Sensitive, empathetic, and client-focused approach Comfortable contributing to business development and networking Proficient in case management systems and digital working Why Apply?
