Brightwork are supporting with the recruitment of a Laboratory Analyst to join our prestigious manufacturing client at their site in North Ayrshire on a Full Time, Temporary ongoing basis. Duties include: - Carrying out chemical analysis in accordance with analytical schedules/LIMS worksheets; - Reporting analytical results in LIMS/SAP, excel or as instructed; - Releasing final product and raw materials via LIMS/SAP; - Operating, calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment; - Providing a troubleshooting analytical service to the operate and improve plant teams; - Non routine analysis as required; - Preparation and analysis of final product stability samples; - Inspecting and analysing specified packaging products; - Providing support and training to the process teams on GMP, ISO and Quality issues; - Maintaining up to date documentation in the laboratory area (eg, analytical methods, COSHH, manual handling assessments, risk assessments etc); - Monitoring environmental and waste streams; - Raising, investigating and following up Laboratory Investigations The successful candidates will possess: - Degree in sciences, either micro or chemical is preferred - Experience working in a Lab based environment, analysing samples, collecting data and running reports. - Good knowledge and understanding of analytical techniques, GMP and GLP If you are an experienced Lab Analyst looking for a new opportunity across Ayrshire then send your CV over today for a confidential chat!
