This provision is looking for someone who can connect well with older students and support them towards independence. They are particularly keen on someone who is:

Daily Expectations & Routine
Morning:
You will support students as they arrive and prepare for lessons:
* Helping organise materials
* Ensuring readiness to learn

Lessons:
You will:
* Interpret lessons into BSL
* Support coursework and understanding
* Encourage independence in learning
* Assist with task completion
-----------------------------------
Break & Lunch:
You will:
* Support social interaction
* Encourage appropriate behaviour
* Build positive relationships

End of Day:
Staff remain until 3:30pm–4:30pm:
* Completing reports
* Supporting planning
* Attending briefings

Lesson Expectations
* Active support throughout
* Encouraging student independence
* Supporting literacy and communication

Additional Responsibilities
* Supporting life skills development
* Preparing students for transitions
* Working with teaching and pastoral staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
