Class 1 HGV Drivers Required - Ongoing Work
Location: Worksop / Blyth
Pay Rate (Days): £18.04 - £18.38 per hour
Start Times: From 04:00am onwards
The Best Connection Sheffield is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for a nationally recognised client based in the Worksop/Blyth area.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking steady, ongoing daytime work with competitive pay and long-term prospects.

The Role
* Depot-to-depot trunking
* 8-9 hour shifts
* Minimal handball (if any)
* 5 days per week
* Potential to work 5 out of 6 days (Monday-Saturday) during peak periods
* Weekly assessments and inductions
* Full-time ongoing work available from February/March

✅ Key Responsibilities
* Complete depot-to-depot trunking routes
* Follow daily delivery schedules
* Conduct daily vehicle safety checks
* Drive safely and compliantly in line with UK road laws
* Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding delays or issues

Requirements
* Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
* Minimum 2 years' Class 1 experience
* Up-to-date CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
* Ability to provide two references
* Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
* Reliable and professional approach
