You'll be a smart, friendly, and enthusiastic member of the team providing vital administrative support. Your IT and organisational skills will be complemented by an excellent telephone manner. You will interact with Consultants, patients, and colleagues, being sensitive to our customers' needs and providing excellent customer service. Administrative and keyboard skills are required, and previous experience of working in a customer service environment is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided.
Responsibilities include:
1. Providing administrative support across various areas, including customer-facing environments.
2. Ensuring all work within this complex area of administration and support meets required standards and timescales, following GDPR policies and meeting CQC requirements.
3. Organising own workload flexibly within reasonable timescales.
4. Handling inquiries or queries efficiently and escalating appropriately when necessary.
5. Preparing invoices and contacting patients for payments prior to procedures.
6. Accurately entering, modifying, maintaining, and presenting data/information using appropriate electronic or manual systems.
7. Managing and maintaining accurate records and databases.
8. Communicating confidently and customer-focused, with the ability to interpret and manage data effectively.
Qualifications and skills:
* Educated to GCSE level in English and Maths, with NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent preferred.
* Good IT and keyboard skills.
* Experience in an administrative or customer-facing environment is advantageous.
* Experience within a hospital or healthcare environment is desirable.
* Self-motivated, with initiative and a passion for delivering excellent service.
