We are partnering with a fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) in Stafford looking for an experienced Project Engineer. This role combines hands-on technical work with project management responsibilities, delivering IT solutions to a variety of business clients.
Role Overview
As a Project Engineer, you will lead and implement IT projects across multiple client environments. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and third-party suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead IT projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring successful delivery.
Deploy and configure servers, networking equipment, cloud services, and business applications.
Work with clients to understand requirements, plan timelines, and manage expectations.
Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and contractors to execute projects efficiently.
Support Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and networking solutions.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, configurations, and post-project reports.
Provide escalation support for complex technical issues when required.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in IT project delivery or engineering, preferably within an MSP environment.
Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft technologies, networking, and cloud platforms.
Experience managing IT projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to translate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects.
