Operational Migration Manager – CCH iFirm
Role Overview:
The Operational Migration Manager will lead the strategic migration of Wolters Kluwer TAA UK's legacy on-premise software suite to the next-generation cloud platform. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth, scalable, and customer-centric transition, reducing churn risk, unlocking cloud benefits, and accelerating revenue realization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Migration Strategy & Execution:
o Develop and lead a repeatable, scalable migration framework across customer segments.
o Define migration phases, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria.
o Serve as project lead for top-tier customer migrations.
o Own customer communications and interactions for migrations outside the top 10.
* Cross-functional Coordination:
o Align and coordinate across product, engineering, professional services, support, marketing, and content teams.
o Ensure clear governance and visibility across all workstreams.
o Report progress periodically to the Regional Leadership Team (RLT).
* Customer Engagement:
o Act as the central point of contact for customers during migration.
o Build confidence and streamline communications on migration progress.
* Commercial & Analytical Support:
o Support commercial and marketing teams during product rollout.
o Define and report key metrics to track migration success.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
* Master’s degree (BA/BS) preferred or equivalent experience.
* Fluent in English.
* Accountancy or practice experience is highly desirable.
* Strong project management methodology and execution skills.
* Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and secure stakeholder buy-in.
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
* Demonstrated leadership and credibility in driving complex projects.
