Job description:Care Manager - Luxury Residential Care HomeWoodland View Lodge-Exeter, Devon£46,250.00 per yearMonday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (40 hours per week)Who are we?At Crystal Care Collection, we are committed to creating care homes that are not only luxury places for residents to live, but also wonderful places for our teams to work.Because our residents deserve the very best care, we are dedicated to recruiting compassionate, skilled individuals who share our values and want to make a real difference.We are currently recruiting a Care Manager for our luxury residential care home in Exeter .This is an exciting commissioning opportunity, where you will work closely with the General Manager to prepare the home for opening and help build a high-performing care team from the ground up.The RoleAs Care Manager, you will support the General Manager in the day-to-day leadership and management of the home, ensuring residents receive the highest standard of person-centred care in a safe, welcoming and supportive environment.You will play a key role in supporting staff development, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining the quality of care across the home.Key Responsibilities Act as Person in Charge in the absence of the General Manager.Participate in the on-call rota for out-of-hours management support.Ensure residents' needs are met and liaise with families and professional agencies where appropriate.Monitor and manage Person Centred Software (PCS) compliance and care planning standards.Provide coaching and support to team members, helping develop strong care planning practices.Oversee the ordering, checking and stock control of medication .Support the General Manager with recruitment, interviews, investigations and disciplinary processes .Assist with rota management and staffing levels, ensuring appropriate skill mix at all times.Maintain accurate rotas using CoolCare .Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including Health & Safety, COSHH, HACCP and Care Standards legislation.What We Are Looking For NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or currently working towards itExperience working in a managerial role within a care home environmentStrong leadership, organisational and communication skillsA passion for delivering outstanding person-centred careAbility to support and motivate a team in a fast-paced environmentWhat We Offer Full induction training programmeFully funded Enhanced DBS checkFully funded Blue Light CardRefer a Friend bonus schemeOpportunities for career development and progressionThe opportunity to be part of an exciting new home openingAdditional InformationWe are currently unable to offer sponsorship .Our screening and recruitment process is conducted in line with Crystal Care Collection's Safeguarding Policy .?
