School Business Manager
Location: Chesham & Amersham
Job Type: Temporary (with strong opportunity to become permanent)
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Start Date: 6th March 2026 (handover available prior)
About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced School Business Manager to support 23 school sites across the Chesham and Amersham area. This is a full-time role with responsibility for finance and operational management, initially offered on a temporary basis with a clear view to permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage school finance and budgeting across multiple sites
* Oversee operational and business functions to ensure smooth day-to-day running
* Maintain accurate financial records using IMP accounting software
* Support senior leadership with financial planning and operational decision-making
* Ensure compliance with school finance and operational procedures
* Contribute to a structured handover and transition period
About You
* Essential: Previous experience working in a school setting
* Strong background in finance and operational management
* Experience using IMP or similar school accounting systems
* Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
* Confident communicator, comfortable working across more than one site
