Operations Manager – Waste Management / Recycling Facility An experienced Waste & Recycling Operations Manager is required to lead a production team at a fast-paced processing site in South Yorkshire. Salary:£60k - £65k + Car allowance £6k, Pension Location: South Yorkshire The Role As Operations Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of a busy waste management or recycling facility. Key duties include: Overseeing the intake, processing, and dispatch of waste materials Ensuring all plant and equipment are properly maintained and operational Maintaining compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety, and Quality standards Managing, motivating, and developing a team of production staff Supporting commercial activities and contributing to overall business performance About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Proven experience managing a waste processing or recycling site although not essential A background working with materials such as biomass, wood waste, scrap metal, plastics, construction/demolition waste, composting, landfill, aggregates, anaerobic digestion, MRF/MBT operations, or other heavy industry Desirable : A relevant qualification such as COTC/WAMITAB (training can be provided if required) NEBOSH or IOSH certification A full UK driving license Suitable Backgrounds This role would suit candidates who have previously held posi...
