In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out hospital-based stock counts, ensuring accurate inventory management, and maintaining strong customer relationships across your assigned region. This is a customer-facing position where accuracy, professionalism, and excellent communication are key. Your Tasks Schedule and manage stock counts for your allocated region/customers, ensuring efficiency and compliance with SLAs/KPIs. Act as the primary point of contact with hospitals via email and phone to request and confirm appointments. Carry out stock counts of various medical products on hospital sites using bespoke inventory devices and software. Ensure inventory is correctly checked, counted, recorded, reconciled, and reported with supporting explanations. Monitor product use-by dates and ensure stock is rotated appropriately to minimise waste. Investigate missing products on site with hospital staff and patient records to establish usage details. Produce follow-up reports of missing stock for hospitals and Territory Managers once counts are completed. Communicate progress, changes, and relevant information to all stakeholders, including the inventory team, account managers, hospital representatives, and customer service teams. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements, including risk assessments, vaccinations, security checks, and safe working practices. Handle STOK and customer data responsibly, in line with GDPR and company processes, treating all data as private and confidential. Carry out any other reasonable duties as required. Please note: you may be required to work within hospital operating theatres as part of this role. Your Profile Previous experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of stock control, including counts, stock rotation, discrepancy investigation, and audit procedures. Experience in a customer-facing environment. Excellent IT skills, including MS Office, CRM, and SAP. Able to work under strict time pressures with strong time management, planning, and organisational skills. Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Full UK driving license. Experience within the medical industry is an advantage.
