Our impressive client is looking for a highly capable individual to join their student affairs team on a temporary basis, covering a period of extended leave. This role offers the chance to provide essential support to international postgraduate students throughout their academic journey.
You’ll be responsible for delivering key services that help ensure students have a smooth and successful experience, including pre-arrival support, accommodation and visa coordination, grant management, and data administration. You’ll work closely with internal teams and university stakeholders, acting as a central point of contact for student queries.
This is a hands-on role that requires both strategic awareness and excellent attention to detail.
Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This role will start immediately, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.
Temporary Admissions and Student Services Manager Responsibilities
Coordinate pre-arrival support for incoming students
Manage accommodation arrangements and visa documentation processes
Administer grants and funding schemes
Maintain accurate student records and ensure GDPR compliance within CRM systems
Respond to student queries with empathy and professionalism
Collaborate with departments and external partners
Support strategic reviews and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Ensure high standards of service delivery across all touchpoints

Essential Skills and Experience:
Experience in admissions, student support, or academic administration
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, data handling)
Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce
Discretion and sensitivity when working with personal data
Location
Our client is located in central Oxford (OX1). There is no on-site parking due to the location, but excellent public transport links and Park & Ride options are available.
