CONCRETE PLANT BATCHER
Biker Group's Concrete division specialises in the supply and delivery of high quality fresh ready-mix concrete across the North East and Yorkshire. We are currently looking for an experienced concrete batcher to operate and run our plant at Dalton Industrial Estate, Thirsk, YO7 3HE.

* Working Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00am – 4:00pm.

* Excellent pay structure: £47,500 - £55,000 per annum dependant on experience.

DAY TO DAY:
* Accurate production of ready-mix Concrete.
* Managing stock levels and co-ordinating the ordering of raw materials.
* General housekeeping and site improvements.
* Completing plant maintenance and upkeep.
* Operating a loading shovel/telehandler.
* Maintaining accurate records of batch details, material usage, and quality control checks.
* Conducting various material and product testing.
* Control of drivers and visitors coming on to the site, projecting a professional image and ensuring site rules are complied with at all times.
* Promoting and complying with all company Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience in batching concrete with a good knowledge of batching plant operations, material handling, product awareness, and quality control procedures.
* A competent loading shovel operator.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ambitious, organised and driven.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships
* Flexible and adaptable with the confidence to use own initiative.
* Prepared to work unpredictable hours, as well as Saturday availability
* HGV Class 2 license an advantage.
