Science Department: The Science Department is a large, well-established and highly successful team, delivering Biology, Chemistry and Physics across KS3, KS4 and KS5. Practical work is a key strength of the department, and students are encouraged to develop curiosity, resilience and confidence through well-planned experiments and investigations. The school is seeking a dedicated and organised Science Technician to support the day-to-day running of the science laboratories. You will play a vital role in ensuring that lessons are fully resourced, practical work is prepared safely, and equipment is maintained to a high standard. The role includes preparing chemicals and apparatus, setting up practical experiments, supporting risk assessments, ensuring safe storage and disposal of materials, and maintaining accurate stock records. You will work closely with teachers and other technicians to support outstanding delivery of the science curriculum. You may also be involved in supporting science clubs, STEM events or enrichment activities.
