This role is ideal for someone who has 1–2 years’ independent working experience in quantity surveying, estimating or commercial support. Perfect for someone with a degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline, who is now looking to take the next step in their career and grow within a busy, hands-on commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
9. Provide clear, timely and accurate information, advice, and reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders.
10. Support senior team members in the day-to-day management and delivery of multiple projects.
11. Actively manage deadlines and report progress to supervisors.
12. Follow quality assurance processes and ensure standard documentation is used for external communications.
13. Attend meetings, contribute, and produce accurate minutes.
14. Carry out site visits and inspections as required.
15. Work across multiple projects, managing a high volume of tasks simultaneously
16. Assist with measurement, estimating, pricing, and liaising with suppliers.
17. Prepare Bills of Quantities, Specifications, and Schedule of Rates.
18. Compile tenders and quotations for works.
19. Administer various forms of contracts during the construction period.
20. Prepare and administer interim valuations, contractor claims, and settlement of final accounts.
21. Maintain and update cost databases, financial records, and contemporary project records.
22. Assist in the valuation of claims and variations.
23. Support the preparation of financial reports in accordance with company requirements.
24. Provide general support to Commercial and Contract Managers.
25. Demonstrate effective project management skills and organisation across all tasks.

Who We’re Looking For:
34. 1–2 years’ relevant experience
35. Degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Estimating
36. Experience in groundworks, civils, or refurbishment projects is highly beneficial
37. Strong measurement, costing, pricing, and supplier liaison skills
38. Ability to handle high-volume, fast-turnaround quoting workload
39. Organised, proactive, and confident communicator
