Part-time Van Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for Van Delivery Drivers to join our well-established client based in Thurrock. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great benefits and room to grow and progress. Shifts: Working 2/3 days per week between Monday - Friday: 05:30 - 07:00 start times Part Rates: £12.00 per hour Benefits: As a Van Deliver Driver, you will receive the following benefits: Guaranteed eight hours work per day Ongoing work Weekly pay Site canteen Immediate starts Holiday accrued Day to Day Duties: Your duties as a Van Delivery Driver will involve, but not be limited, to: Operate and drive various delivery vans in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Essential Skills As a Van Delivery Driver, you will need to: Hold a valid UK Category B Driving Licence Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving Category B vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Must have good knowledge of UK road network Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles Previous experience with multi drop deliveries Training Industry related training and ongoing support throughout Contact This client values its workers and provides an excellent working environment If you are looking for high-paying, reliable work, click below to apply today or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process
