Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: HMP Albany (IOW), Albany, 55 Parkhurst Rd, Newport PO30 5RS
Salary: £41,818.21 per annum
Contract: Permanent, full time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at HMP Albany (IOW), a category B adult male prison.

Responsibilities:
1. Work in compliance with Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements.
2. Adhere to Gas safe (installation and use) regulations 1998 and associated industry standards.
3. Work with commercial catering gas appliances as required.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Two years experience working in a role as a heating engineer, a combustion engineer or equivalent.
2. C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and heating) and NVQ level 3 in Plumbing.
3. CCN1 - Core domestic gas safety and relevant domestic appliance units.
4. COCN1 - Core commercial gas safety certificate and relevant commercial units.
5. Good Health & Safety knowledge.
6. Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
