Main Duties
As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will deliver high standards of personal care and contribute fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. Your duties include:
 * Assisting residents with personal hygiene, ensuring optimal independence, dignity and respect at all times.
 * Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls and infections, and escalating any identified risks promptly.
 * Acting courteously toward residents and their visitors, respecting each individual’s dignity and individuality.
 * Practicing safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

 * Efficient worker capable of following reasonable instructions.
 * Adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
Experience is not required; our comprehensive induction and training programme will ensure you have the confidence to perform the role.
