Your Role
We are looking to recruit an experienced Analytics Manager to join Stockport Council’s Business Intelligence Team.
This is a permanent role managing our Adult’s Social Care Analytics Team responsible for supporting the service by producing routine business as usual reports, providing key data insights and analysis, building and maintaining Tableau dashboards to support performance management and operational activities and helping the service meet their statutory reporting obligations.
About You
We are looking for experienced managers with a background in business intelligence and Analytics, able to understand and interpret complex data.
You will be an experienced user of MS Office products including Excel and working with SQL, experience of working with Tableau would be advantageous but not essential.
You will have excellent communication and organisations skills, able to work flexibly and as part of a team with an enthusiasm to learn and develop new skills.
Experience of working within or supporting Adult Social Care Services would be advantageous but not essential.
Please note whilst this role is hybrid you will be expected to work from Stopford House (Stockport) when the role requires you to do so e.g. in person meetings, team days.

Stockport Council Business Intelligence Team use market leading software to provide services with actionable insight. Our BI Analytics Team sits within Corporate Services, alongside Analytics teams supporting other Council Directorates, BI Development Team and Systems Teams.
