At GXO Logistics, we are on the lookout for full-time, permanent HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our dynamic team in Birmingham, serving our esteemed customer, WHSmith.
Your Work Schedule
You will be contracted to work 45 hours per week, with a start time window of 03:00 - 07:00. While you will be contracted for Any 5 from 7, the regular shift patterns are typically:
* Tuesday - Saturday
* Sunday - Thursday

Your Daily Responsibilities
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your day will typically involve:
* Delivering and collecting goods to and from customer stores, including airports, hospitals, and service stations (1 - 5 drops per shift)
* Operating company vehicles safely, legally, and efficiently
* Completing all necessary paperwork accurately and on time
* Ensuring compliance with Driver's hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations
What You Need to Succeed at GXO
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
* No more than 6 current penalty points
* No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC, or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
* Previous experience driving category C+E vehicles is desirable
* Willingness to transport and handle alcohol, along with some manual handling
