Job Description American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with CA license and BLS certification for an acute care hospital assignment requiring 2 years of recent experience.
Responsibilities Position is based in an acute care hospital setting
Unit specializes in speech pathology for diverse patient populations
Trauma Level II environment
10-hour day shifts with every other weekend required
13-week contract assignment
Cerner EMR is utilized for documentation
New travel candidates are eligible unless previously employed directly by associated facilities within the past year
12 hours of orientation will be provided at the start of the assignment
Dress code details, including scrub requirements, will be provided upon assignment
Candidates must maintain current licensure and certifications with no pending status
Applicants must be able to provide documentation for required credentials upon request
Requirements Active California Speech-Language Pathology license required if applicable
Active BLS certification required
At least 2 years of experience in an acute care facility
COVID vaccine certification required
Two professional references required: one supervisor from the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the past 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
Copy of driver’s license must be provided
