How You'll Make a Difference
As an Administrator for the Business Support Team, you will provide detailed and accurate administration support to ensure that records and reports are up to date. Your work helps the wider Children, Adults and Health Department to provide support to those in the community who may need it the most.
What You Will Be Doing
* Act as main point of contact for Social Care, providing administrative support to managers and ensuring efficient work procedures.
* Deal with enquiries and information requests, maintaining strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners.
* Collate, maintain, and analyze records and information, ensuring accurate data retrieval and reporting.
* Research within Social Care, compile evidence, and draft report sections as needed.
* Escalate concerns and issues promptly and accurately.
* Record and monitor budgets, financial information, and resources accurately.
What We Need From You
* NVQ 2 or 3 GCSEs (grade C or above) or equivalent experience in office administration.
* Ability to take and type accurate minutes and format documents professionally.
* Effective communication skills across various media.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and record systems.
* Experience with databases, report generation, data analysis, and basic financial procedures.
* Experience dealing with challenging calls from young people is desirable but not essential.
Additional Information
* This is a limited-term contract ending January 2026.
* Hybrid working model: mix of office and home working, subject to change.
* Interviews scheduled for Wednesday 21st May 2025.
