Radis Community Care has an opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team based at our Extra Care Scheme, The Cannons.
The Cannons Extra Care Scheme in Essex features one- and two-bedroom apartments within a spectacular late-Georgian building.
This is a Full-Time position, involving a 50/50 split between care and admin duties, including a mixture of care shifts (7am - 2pm and 2pm - 9pm) and office hours (9am - 5pm). The contract is for 37.5 hours per week.

About the role
As a Team Leader, you will support our extra care complex by providing specialized support to individuals. Radis recognizes each person as an individual and tailors services to meet their specific needs, ensuring a consistent approach throughout their lives.
You will be the first point of contact for the package, conducting supervisions and meetings with Care Workers. Your responsibilities include scheduling and allocating work, ensuring personal care and other tasks are client-specific, supporting with medication, personal care, and community engagement.
You will also participate in the on-call rota and provide emergency cover for care and housing support duties when required.

Skills and qualifications required
Previous experience as a Team Leader is advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will have or be working towards an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, aiming for Level 3. Good written and verbal communication skills, along with a willingness to learn and adapt to client needs, are essential.
This role requires an enhanced DBS check. A driving license and access to a vehicle are desirable but not mandatory.
