Responsibilities
• Teach Science across KS3/4, with the possibility of KS5 depending on specialism
• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective lessons
• Support practical experiments, investigations, and student learning in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
• Monitor and track student progress
• Contribute to departmental development, enrichment programmes, and extracurricular STEM activities
• Mentor and support Early Career Teachers if appropriate
Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in a Science-related subject
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience teaching Science in secondary education (ECTs encouraged)
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Ability to differentiate learning for students of varying abilities
