Offshore Crane Engineer Job

We are seeking a skilled Offshore Crane Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the offshore, ports and shipping, and oil and gas industries.

The selected engineer will work on a flying squad basis, receiving full training and working in various environments and on a range of equipment worldwide.


Responsibilities:

* Commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of client cranes and lifting equipment, both onshore and offshore.
* Carrying out repairs and inspections on electrical equipment and systems.
* Fault finding and repairs of hydraulic and mechanical equipment and systems.
* Commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of client mechanical equipment, both onshore and offshore.
* Assisting with spares identification and procurement.
* Producing clear, factual documented reports.
* Rigging and lift planning.
* Complying with site HSEQ requirements.
* Working safely with all site staff to ensure a safe working environment.
* Minimising any environmental risks that may occur during tasks and ensuring all available controls are utilised when offshore.


Requirements:

* Experience working within the offshore/marine crane industry.
* Commissioning and fault finding on electro-mechanical and/or hydro-mechanical systems.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Comfortable working at heights.
* In-depth knowledge of preventative maintenance on offshore cranes.
* BOSIET certification.
* Proficiency in IT and ability to write reports.
* Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings and translate them into practice.
* Leadership/supervisory experience.
* Experience working with marine engineering applications.
