Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding our systems, data, and infrastructure from potential threats, ensuring the security and integrity of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Security Infrastructure Management:
o Maintain and enhance our security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools.
o Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
o Implement and configure security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber attacks.

Incident Response and Threat Management:
o Develop and implement incident response procedures to effectively address security breaches and cyber threats.
o Monitor systems for suspicious activity and promptly investigate and mitigate security incidents.
o Stay informed about the latest cyber threats and security trends, and proactively take measures to mitigate risks.
3.
Security Policy Development and Compliance:
o Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
o Ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws, regulations, and standards, such as GDPR and PCI DSS.
o Provide guidance and support to internal teams on security-related matters and best practices.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience working in a Cyber Security Engineer role or similar position.
* Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.
* Experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and encryption.
* Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks and standards, particularly in the financial services sector.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and mitigate security risks effectively.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) would be advantageous.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
