About The Role
Based in our Global HQ on Baker Street, the Executive Assistant will work within the Human Resources department, providing EA support to the Chief People Officer (CPO). The role is the right-hand support for the CPO, ensuring the smooth running of the department. Confidentiality is crucial to this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Senior Exec Support
o Be first point of contact for the CPO with colleagues across the business globally, representing the role with professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
o Extensive 1:1 senior level support as a natural extension of the CPO and their daily activities.
o Handle all EA duties with discretion, diplomacy and efficiency, reflecting the professionalism of the CPO and the People function.
o Work closely with the CPO to anticipate needs and prioritise requests from across the business.
o Independently manage and support a range of complex, cross‑functional projects and strategic initiatives at Group Executive Board level.
o Maintain strong partnerships across the organisation with senior stakeholders, internal teams and external connections.
o Coordinate with the wider EA network for effective coverage and coordination.
o Provide cover for other Senior EAs during holidays and peak periods.
* Diary, Meetings and Governance
o Proactively manage the CPO’s complex diary, optimise time usage, schedule meetings and travel arrangements, and provide timely reminders.
o Adapt to changing priorities with attention to detail, upholding professionalism and discretion.
o Coordinate governance documentation, ensuring materials are accurate, compliant and delivered on time.
o Engage stakeholders and build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
o Manage inbox, minuting meetings, draft correspondence and board papers, prepare presentations and oversee general admin.
o Prepare the CPO for meetings by collating papers, drafting agendas and ensuring pre-reads are available.
o Support Board and Committee meetings, maintain forward agendas, coordinate papers and track actions to completion.
o Review board and committee papers and minutes, ensuring actions are completed ahead of subsequent meetings.
o Maintain confidentiality across all aspects of the CPO’s work, diary and inbox.
* Department and People Function Support
o Ensure the team has tools, resources and facilities to operate effectively.
o Partner with the CPO’s leadership team to coordinate requirements and support needs.
o Organise all team activities including agendas, content and socials, ensuring the CPO has materials ahead of meetings.
o Be a primary point of contact for the team and an advisor where needed.
o Collaborate with People function partners and Workday/SAP responsibilities for the CPO (e.g., invoice approval, expense claims, holiday approvals, role creation).

* Experience and Aptitudes/Skills Required
o 5 years+ EA experience
o Experience at board level with minute taking

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Excellent time management skills
o Strong communicator capable of influencing at all levels with a professional and helpful manner
o Self-motivated, well-presented with a background in project management, organisation and administration, including an interest in HR
o Ability to influence and communicate with others; use of empathy to understand diversity and stereotypes
o Understanding of emotional intelligence and interpersonal style
