Salary: £25,964 – £36,208 (full‑time equivalent, 52 weeks per year)
Hours: 28.8 hours per week – part‑time

Role Overview
The Sports team at Uxbridge College offers a range of Sport programmes, including BTECs from Level 1 to Level 3. We are seeking to appoint a part‑time Lecturer in Sport on a fixed‑term basis to cover maternity leave starting from January 2026.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach vocational Sport, including BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 courses, to learners aged 16‑19.
* Develop and deliver engaging, learner‑centred lessons that meet curriculum standards and learning outcomes.
* Assess learners, provide feedback, and support progress towards course completion.
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan and review curriculum, resources, and assessment practices.
* Maintain accurate teaching and assessment records and meet statutory reporting requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Sport or a related subject area.
* Level 5 teaching qualification (or equivalent vocational teaching experience).
* Experience teaching vocational Sport, including BTEC programmes.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage young vocational learners.
* Ability to work within a part‑time, fixed‑term role and cover a maternity leave period.
