Straight-Line Civils are currently looking for a Design Engineer to be based in Kingswinford, Dudley. You will be responsible for designing, selecting materials, and specifying the fabrication details for pressure vessels that meet the required codes and standards. You will be working with other professionals, such as engineers and project managers, to ensure the timely completion of projects. It is essential that you have a thorough understanding of the industry and safety regulations governing pressure vessels. You must also be able to calculate loads, stresses, and forces to determine the most appropriate material, wall thickness, and vessel shape and size for the application.
